XLR-V Exhaust Bypass Switch – MSRP $90.00

Application – 2006-2009 XLRV

This kit is designed to permit instant manual bypass of the two exhaust valve butterfly valves present in the XLR-V muffler, giving the driver full control of maximum exhaust flow. The kit is a Plug-And-Play design which should take the average person around 20 minutes to install. There are no wires to cut, and no electrical skills are necessary to install this system, which comes with the console cover plate to replace your OEM part. The switch used has a small logo identifying four exhaust ports. When the switch is pressed to the position of the white dot, the exhaust butterfly valves open and remain on manual override until the switch is returned to the normal position.

Every vehicle can benefit from a more efficient tune. Through dyno tuning, power and torque are increased by calibrating ignition timing and air/fuel ratios. Changed your tire size or rear end gears? We can recalibrate your speedometer for different tire sizes and axle gear ratios. Speed limiters can be raised to desired levels or in some cases even eliminated through dyno tuning. We will gladly provide you with a before and after dyno graph Illustrating how much power and torque was gained from the tuning.

Corsa exhaust systems deliver an increase in horsepower and torque without the resonance or drone typically associated with a performance exhaust system. You’ll get all the benefits of a performance exhaust system, yet your vehicle will still be whisper quiet at highway speeds. Carrying on a conversation with your passengers will be easier and you can leave your ear plugs at home. This bolt on system is built out of 304 Stainless Steel and is 50 state legal.

Description – This is our introductory package which includes Stage 1 and 2 Intakes and ECU Box. It is a relatively simple and quick bolt on package that will boost engine power to over 500 bhp. Installation only takes about an hour and can be installed with common hand tools. This is one of the largest performance gains you can obtain for your XLR-V with minimal investment.

Description – For those who are looking for a little bit more of an upgrade, but do not want to get into the motor, we offer our Stage 2 power package. This package includes our Intercooler Upgrade & Boost Upgrade. It will boost engine power up to 575 bhp and over 580 ft lbs of torque. *Does not include any of Stage 1 items* This package requires a PCM reflash to maximize tune and engine potential. Because of the high output of this package it is advised that brake upgrades are also considered at time of purchase.

Description – This is for the enthusiast who wants it all. Each stage 3 package is customized to the individual’s desire. We cover everything from ported cylinder heads to rebuilt bottom ends. Also part of every stage 3 is braking system upgrades, wheels and tires (if big brakes are used) and any other custom modifications desired. This power package is rated at 600+ bhp. The Stage 3 power package is typically only done in house.

Our secondary intake replaces the factory unit that forks from the Stage 1 Intake around the sides of the factory supercharger. By removing the factory air silencers and increasing pipe diameter, horsepower and torque is greatly increased and the ‘whine’ from the factory supercharger can be heard under moderate to hard acceleration. This intake is also available in chrome or black wrinkle finish. Please note these figures are shown using the D3 Stage 1 Intake and D3 ECU Box. HP & TQ figures will vary if you choose a different combination.

Our plug n play ECU box is the easiest way to recalibrate air/fuel ratios in just seconds. Each box comes preloaded with a tune for your application and they will increase horsepower and torque throughout the entire power band. We offer this as a quick and easy alternative to a PCM Reflash. When it’s time to take the vehicle in for servicing, it’s no problem. Simply disconnect the box to return the vehicle to factory tune. Please specify which tune when ordering.

For those who demand the most out of their vehicles, D3 provides custom headers and high flow catalytic convertors providing greater exhaust flow without excessive noise and pollution. 304 Stainless Steel material tig welded construction coupled with CNC laser cut flanges, these headers offer the best performance with factory like fitment. This item is now shipping complete with all the replacement hardware and gaskets needed for installation. The XLR application suffers from a very restrictive exhaust manifold. Unlock big power gains with a set of D3 Stainless Steel Headers. Install time is about 4-5 hours.

Intercooler Upgrade – MSRP $575.00

One of the biggest horsepower killers on forced induction vehicles is heat and the 4.4L supercharged Northstar often suffers from bad heat soak. When a supercharger or turbocharger compresses air, it also generates additional heat. Keep your cool and help lower your intake air temperatures with our intercooler upgrade. This unit dissipates heat more efficiently than the stock unit and will help to reduce inlet temperatures. Every intercooler upgrade comes with a bottle of Purple Ice additive to greater increase cooling efficiency. This upgrade will result in much more consistent power when the vehicle is subjected to spirited driving conditions. *The item shown is the upgraded intercooler shown with the optional twin cooling fans.

Intercooler Reservoir – MSRP $550.00

The entire factory XLR-V intercooler cooling system holds 2.4 quarts of fluid. By adding the D3 Intercooler Reservoir you will effectively increase the total fluid capacity to 5.4 quarts. This will help stave off heat soak and reduce your average fluid temperature. It will also help provide you with much more consistent performance in hot weather. By adding more fluid to the system, the compressed air going through the intercooler will only be able to transfer its heat to a smaller percentage of the fluid cooling the air charge. This item comes in a wrinkle black finish with mounting brackets for easy installation. This product installs using factory hardware without drilling or cutting. The low gloss black finish keeps this modification very low key when mounted behind the wire mesh grill.

Methanol Injection System – MSRP $550.00

Boost Juice: $24.95 case of 4 gallons

Another method we use to drop inlet air temperature is through methanol injection. By reducing the inlet air temperature, vehicles are less likely to suffer from detonation or pre-ignition. Reducing inlet temperatures allows for a denser, more power charge in each cylinder resulting in greater horsepower and torque gains and longer engine life. This is especially helpful in high output or over boosted applications.

Supercharger Lid Upgrade – MSRP $995.00 *Core required*

D3 is always looking for ways to increase the potential of every vehicle. We have found the intercooler lid on top of the supercharger presents a large restriction in airflow. By modifying the existing lid we are able increase air flow greatly. Our Stage 2 XLR-V gained 20 RWHP bringing it to over 460 RWHP with this modification.

Supercharger Boost Upgrade: Call for Pricing and Details

Application – 2006-2009 XLR-V

The final step in our Stage 2 Power Package is to increase the boost output of the factory supercharger greatly increasing horsepower and torque levels through the entire power band. Because we spin the supercharger close to its peak rpm, this package also includes the intercooler and methanol injection to keep induction temperatures down. This package is only sold as a whole and is recommended for use with our stage 1 and 2 intakes and Corsa exhaust system for best performance. Please note, in most cases a custom PCM tune is required.

Cylinder Head Upgrade: $4900.00 *Core required*

When bolt on items just aren’t enough, D3 offers our cylinder head upgrade as part of the Stage 3 power package. By porting the cylinder heads, cleaning up work to the bowls and a multi angle valve job, our head are able to flow over 12% more air than the factory units. A great flowing cylinder head is essential to building the most power and torque possible.

Looking for a little better acceleration? Need a beefy rear end to help support your power upgrades? Need to change the gear ratio in the factory rear differential? New high performance gear sets available in 2.73, 2.93, 3.15, 3.42, 3.73, 3.90, 4.10 ratios. Coilover System: MSRP $2095.00

This system holds nothing back and provides the ride quality one would expect out of a Cadillac XLR with the performance of a true sports car. This system installs in just a few hours. The great thing about this system, besides the unmatched handling and performance, is the fact that you don’t have ANY drivability issues (i.e. no squeaks, clanks, or popping). Dips, surface changes, intersections, driveways, and potholes, are all easily traversed without any jarring or tracking.

With 16-way adjustability of rebound and dampening you have full control of how you want to set up your vehicle. Speaking of adjustability you also have the option to raise and lower your vehicle depending on your driving/road conditions with the adjustable ride height feature. The fully threaded valve body gives the user the ability to adjust given their conditions.

Product Description – A great intermediate brake upgrade for those looking to increase braking performance by 15-20%. This caliper system replaces the futile factory 2-piston front calipers and single piston rears with beefy 4-piston calipers on all four corners. Aftermarket wheels are required for this modification and additional wheel clearance is needed to accommodate the larger calipers. Benefits include the following; decrease in required braking distance, improved brake feel, greater car control, decrease in brake fade, firm braking grip.

This is a great upgrade to reduce that unwanted brake fade when conducting spirited driving.

For greater stopping power and shorter stopping distances we offer two options. The first is OEM replacement rotors and performance pads. It’s an excellent alternative to cut cost and for those who wish to keep their factory wheels. When upgrading to the OEM brake sets, we recommend adding a set of stainless steel brake lines to dress up the brakes a little and increase pedal stiffness.
