BUSINESS HOURS
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm Pacific Standard Time. All Internet orders are processed and filled in the order they are received during our normal business hours. We respond to all email messages during normal business hours in the order that they are received.

All Internet questions are answered as fast as possible and in the order they are received. D3 Research & Design is not responsible for email sent to the incorrect email address.
PRIVACY
Being a member of the Internet community shouldn’t mean that you lose your rights to privacy. It is D3 Research & Design’s policy that we completely honor the privacy of all of our customers and visitors. For this reason, we make the following promises:
- 1. We will never sell, lease, or otherwise give any of the information about any of our customers to anyone. Ever.
- 2. We may very rarely take advantage of our customer database to provide current customers with product information about automotive performance products in which we feel they will be interested. We will immediately honor any request that this service be discontinued.
- 3. We will never keep any customer information on our networked servers. Customer information is kept on non-networked machines.
- 4. We will not accept or relay any unsolicited commercial email (spam) from any third party to our customers. Any spam received by us is reported to the abuse authority for the particular domain and if the spam persists, the offending mail server is banned from sending additional email to www.d3cadillac.com.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept only the following forms of payment for all orders:
- 1. CREDIT / DEBIT CARDS: Visa, Master Card, American Express Card, and Discover
- 2. CHECKS: Cashiers Checks and Money Orders (NO PERSONAL OR COMPANY CHECKS)
- 3. BANK WIRE TRANSFER: This option is available only to select non 48 state customers
METHODS OF SHIPPING
All Internet orders shipped inside the continental United States of America (the 48 states) will be shipped via UPS Ground service or FedEx Ground service. UPS & FedEx will only deliver packages to a physical address and will not deliver to any kind of PO BOX, FPO, or APO address. All orders will require an adult signature to be received regardless of its destination or method of payment. Credit and debit card orders will be shipped to the billing address of the credit or debit cardholder. If the order is placed with a Cashiers Check or Money Order the order will ship to the physical address (NO POST OFFICE BOXES OR APO TYPE ADDRESS) provided on the order form by the person that is placing the order. D3 Research & Design is not responsible for incorrect addresses provided on Money Order or Cashiers Check orders. All credit and debit card information is fully verified for proper billing and cardholder information prior to shipping for security purposes.
SHIPPING RATES (48 STATES):
All orders will be emailed a total order quote with standard shipping charges depending on package destination. If you do not receive the email within 1 business day of placing your order please email . If any portion of your order is back ordered, the back ordered parts will be shipped with no additional shipping charge when they become available. D3 Research & Design reserves the right to change shipping rates at any time without prior notice.
SHIPPING TO ADDRESS OTHER THAN BILLING:
If you wish to ship to an address OTHER than the billing address, we require you to fax a photo copy of your credit card and driver’s license to our fax line at (562) 988-5122. On the cover page, write the CC#, expiration date, and name/address information (both billing and shipping addresses) to ensure accuracy in our process (the numbers on the credit card are particularly difficult to read on the fax.) List the items you wish to purchase and include a signature. As soon as we receive this, we will begin processing your order.
SHIPPING RATES AND METHODS (OUTSIDE 48 STATES):
D3 Research & Design will gladly ship Internet orders to anywhere in the world that FedEx will deliver. All Internet orders that are shipped outside the 48 states will be subject to standard FedEx shipping rates to your destination. D3 Research & Design will use the least expensive FedEx service available to your location. D3 Research & Design will email International customers a shipping quote and will not ship orders without shipping rate approval from customer. We require international customers to fax a photocopy of their credit card and driver’s license to our fax line at (562) 988-5122. On the cover page, write the CC#, expiration date, internet order number, and name/address information (both billing and shipping addresses) to ensure accuracy in our process (the numbers on the credit card are particularly difficult to read on the fax.) List the items you wish to purchase and include a signature. This may be done before or after shipping quote.
DAMAGE CLAIMS:
All products are shipped using carrier-approved packing materials and methods. Any visible or hidden damage to the package you receive should be brought to the attention of the delivery person or to the carrier immediately by calling their customer service number for claims. Make sure to get the name of the driver and have him sign off the package as damaged. Please file claim with the carrier the same day you receive the package from the carrier. All claims for damaged merchandise must be made with the shipping carrier and not D3 Research & Design Please keep all shipping cartons and packing materials that you received with the damaged goods so the carrier can inspect the package based on you claims. Please keep in mind that D3 Research & Design can not initiate any claims with the carrier. The customer that received the package must make the initial claim. The reason for this is because the carrier will want to inspect the package based on your claims. Calling D3 Research & Design to initiate your claim will only serve to delay the claim process because we have no access to your damaged goods or the delivery driver information. If you need help with the carrier after you have made the initial claim with them please call us at (562) 988- 2090 for assistance. D3 Research & Design is not responsible for any package damage claim made by the customer if not filed with the carrier within 24 hours of (or next business day after) delivery. It is the responsibility of the customer and not D3 Research & Design to keep all paperwork related with the claim filed by the customer.
SHIPPING ERRORS:
If we ship you a package in error, please contact us within 72 hours (or next business day) of receiving your package to arrange for a pickup and re-shipment of the correct parts with no charge for shipping. If the order you received was placed incorrectly and you wish to return the parts to D3 Research & Design (if returnable), contact us for an RGA number. Any package that is returned for any reason not accompanied by an RGA number will be refused. All returns are subject to a standard 25% restocking fee. Return freight is non-refundable for improperly placed orders. Please make sure you are ordering the proper parts that fit your application. If you have any questions about your order, or if the description provided about the products is unclear, please call us at (562) 988-2090 before placing your order.
ORDER STATUS CHECKS:
Unfortunately due to the large volume of emails we get regarding orders placed a day or two prior we must now enforce a waiting period on status checks. We believe this will allow us to serve our customers better by giving our internet staff more time to spend on order processing, checking into orders which are actually late, and updating the web site. So we ask you to wait 5 full business days before contacting us regarding your order. If you are in a rush for the order you must contact us BEFORE placing the order to make sure we have the parts in stock. If there are any problems with the order we will contact you. If you do not receive a reply to your order within 1 business day then your order did not make it through our system and you need to email . Our tracking system automatically emails out tracking numbers for 95% of all orders within 24-48 hours of the order leaving our warehouse. Emailing and then calling us is twice the work for us!! Doing both will NOT speed up our reply and will in fact slow it down. If our work load is high we may not respond at all to your double request!
CANCELLATION OF ORDER: (order which has not shipped yet):
If a customer wishes to cancel an order (provided it is not a special order or custom order product), it is the responsibility of the customer to cancel the order prior to the order being manufactured, assembled, built or shipped. If a customer cancels an order after the product has been shipped, manufactured or assembled (if special order), the customer is subject our RETURNING OF ORDER policies. If the order has not shipped, been manufactured or assembled a 100% refund with a $20 processing fee will apply. It is up to the customer to find out if the order is a special order!
RETURNING OF ORDER: (order which has shipped)
D3 Research & Design will gladly accept eligible returns within 10 days of receipt as long as the part has not been installed. No returns will be accepted for electrical parts of any kind. No returns will be accepted for special-order items. No returns will be accepted for non-stocking items. It is up to the customer to find out if a item is special order or non-stocking! No product will be considered for refund or exchange if it is more that 30 days after invoice date. All returns must have return goods authorization (RGA) number issued before any return or credit can be issued to a customer. No returns are accepted on used, installed, electrically-operated, non-stocking, or special order parts other than a warranty (if any) claim for a manufacturer defect.
Shipping charges on all returned products are non-refundable. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to verify that the parts purchased are the correct parts for your application prior to the installation of the parts. D3 Research & Design will charge a 25% restocking fee for ANY and ALL returned items (if returnable). ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS ON ANY SPECIAL – ORDER / SPECIALS / OR NON – STOCKING PARTS.
All returns must be pre-approved, with an RGA number clearly displayed on the box the box in which the parts are shipped. D3 Research & Design recommends that the customer insure all returns in case the package is lost in transit. D3 Research & Design reserves the right to have the customer ship their warranty claim directly to the manufacturer. All returns must be received within 15 business days after the RGA number is issued; otherwise the return will be refused, and the RGA becomes void. The RGA number does not imply a replacement or refund of any kind, but only that we will inspect the product based on the claims you have made. A refund, exchange, credit or core charge refund will not be considered until all related items, hardware, and accessories have been returned to D3 Research & Design and your claims have been fully inspected by our staff or the manufacturer. Original shipping, handling, customs or duty fees are nonrefundable. A photocopy of the customer’s sales invoice, a written explanation of the problem, and a contact phone number, must accompany all authorized returns. Customers must be aware and fully understand that they may be subject to inbound and outbound freight charges to handle and process their warranty claim. These freight charges are billed to D3 Research & Design by the manufacturer and will be passed on at that cost to the customer. All unauthorized returns of products will be guaranteed to sit on a shelf indefinitely or longer.
REFUNDS
All approved refunds will be paid either by company check, credit card or account credit to be done solely by the D3 Research & Design staff. All refunds will be totally consummated (paid) within 30 business days of being approved for refund.
SPECIAL ORDERS
All special order items will be charged in full or partial deposit at time of order. All special order items will be processed in the most efficient and timely manner possible. D3 Research & Design cannot and will not be held responsible for delays beyond their control. No cancellations, refunds, exchanges or credits will be honored for any special order or custom built items. It is the customer’s responsibility at the time of ordering a special order to obtain an estimated time of arrival. The approximate time of arrival is just that – APPROXIMATE. D3 Research & Design will not be held responsible for specific ship-to or receiving dates of your special order. Refusal of a special order shipment does not constitute your right to a refund of any kind whatsoever.
ORDER SHORTAGES
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to contact D3 Research & Design within 72 hours of delivery date to report missing parts or incomplete shipments. No claims of any kind for product shortage will be honored if filed after 72 hours of the delivery date. No exceptions will be made.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES
All merchandise distributed by D3 Research & Design is subject to a manufacturers’ warranty. Some racing, special order, or custom-made parts are sold "as is" without any type of warranty, expressed, written, implied, or assumed. It is the responsibility of the customer and not D3 Research & Design to verify product warranty (if any) information. No labor inconvenience or damage charges are included in any guarantee or warranty claims.
REFUSED SHIPMENTS
Refused shipments (without prior approval) are automatically subject to a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping charges. Orders that are undeliverable and re-shipped to the customer are subject to shipping charges (at normal shipping rates) and/or a restocking fee of 25%.
LEGALITY OF PRODUCTS SOLD
D3 Research & Design does not guarantee the legality of any products we sell. Some parts sold by D3 Research & Design may void the warranty (if any) of the vehicle on which you are installing the parts. It is the customer’s responsibility to check with local, state, federal laws, and manufacturers, as well as service departments before ordering any products from D3 Research & Design.
INSTALLATION OF PRODUCTS
D3 Research & Design strongly recommends that a trained professional install all parts. Improper installation of any part may void the warranty (if any) and cause injury or death.
YOU AND YOUR CREDIT
All orders are filled in the order they are received based on the correct information provided and our ability to verify the information with the issuing bank. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to provide D3 Research & Design with accurate ordering information. Please verify with your bank prior to placing your order that you have sufficient available credit and that all information provided is true and correct. The reason for this policy is due to the fact that our web sites are maintained in an effort to reduce phone congestion and to allow informed customers to view and place orders at their leisure. When your credit or debit card order is declined (for any reason) this delays processing orders with proper credit and order information. Please keep in mind that a considerable amount of time has already been spent to verify, process, and package your order. D3 Research & Design typically will not dedicate any additional time or personal resources to that order until such time that all other orders for that day with proper credit and information have been filled.
RIGHT OF SERVICE
D3 Research & Design reserves the right to refuse sales or service to anyone, at anytime, for any reason without explanation if we feel this is in the best interest on D3 Research & Design as a company and its customer base as a whole.
